Shinigami is a 2D Action-Platformer, developed by a group of students in an intro to game design course at the University of Utah, in 2016

The game has gamepad support, and an in-game tutorial that teaches you the various mechanics of ledge grabbing, using your dash to dodge hazards, attacking in combos, and using your EP for a special attack

The game has puzzles, platforming challenges, and 4 enemy types to face

The player manages stamina and energy points, as well as growing increasingly stronger through a leveling system

The game itself consists of one tutorial section, one large main level, and an end game testing ground
